Common Frog – These can be found sheltering around the site and using the two Nature Reserve ponds for spawning.
Common Toad – Recognised by their warty skin, there are a few on site but are rarely seen.
Common Newt – Sometimes seen in the ponds or found hiding under cover.
Dragonflies – Sometimes confused with damselflies, dragonflies don’t fold their wings. Varieties seen on site include the Common Darter and Southern Hawker.
Damselflies – Often seen around the ponds in the summer. Varieties noted on site include the Willow Emerald, Azure, Large Red and Blue-tailed.
