This section has been created to help our members and visitors identify plants and wildlife which can be seen on the site. It mainly covers the plants which have been introduced to the Nature Reserve but other naturally occurring ones are being added. Some of the wildlife around is also being added.
It’s a ‘work in progress’ project and primarily designed for people to use on mobile phones when on site although the pictures can be better seen on tablets, laptops and pc’s.
The plants have been divided into groups according to their flower colour plus a group (Green) for grasses, reeds, ferns etc. The links below will take you to the appropriate group.
